Station Officer at Metro Bus Limited


  • Coordinate effective on-boarding of all passengers and maintain a clean and neat work environment

  • Provide direct, front line customer service to customers.·

  • Help direct passengers to the right area for boarding, check tickets/cards, seat assignments.

  • Make announcements and give special help to elderly, young or disabled passengers.

  • Listen to, understand and offer solutions to customers’ questions, concerns, and complaints.

  • Offer customers accurate and helpful route information.

  • Sell and keep records of fare cards/tickets

  • Provide assistance to customers in the use of automated cards

  • Explain to and advise customers on company products or services, and various ticketing options.

  • Keep station equipment and environment to clean and operational

  • Monitor the proper operation of elevators and escalators;

  • Observe and report on overall station conditions, including failures, outages, defects, emergency response situations, and unusual or suspicious occurrences;

  • Direct customers during overcrowding conditions

  • Assist with emergency station evacuations as needed and request police and/or medical assistance, as needed.
