How to Edit and change your Blackberry Integrated Mail Signature.

INTRODUCTION:: Blackberry is a line of smart phone devices which where designed and developed by Research in Motion (RIM) to function as a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), Media players, Gaming devices, camera etc.

They also offer the sending and receiving of highly secured and encrypted Push Emails and Instant messages.

With over seventy (70) million subscribers worldwide, its worthy to note that blackberry is fast becoming a smart phone of choice for security agents, corporate bodies, and personal usage.

With this massive number of subscribers worldwide, only a few can actually edit and change their Mail Signatures (at the foot of every mail sent through the device)

Eg: Sent Using Blackberry from Orange.

Or

Sent Using Blackberry from MTN

Etc

STEPS:: To Edit and change this to a personalized message, follow the steps below:-

1. From your home screen, click on SETUP and when it opens, select EMAIL.

2. Then Select the type of email you want to setup. In this case, Internet Mail Account. (Yahoo, gmail or google mail, hotmail, aol etc.

3. Once it opens, scroll to the mail you want to edit it's signature, press the menu (blackberry logo) and select edit from the list.

4. On the Edit screen, scroll down to signature, delete its content and type your personalized signature to suit what you wanna use the mail account for.

5. Press the return key. A (changes made!) message screen pops up with

Options to SAVE, DISCARD or CANCEL your changes.

Select Save.

6. It brings up another screen to Validate your changes by entering the password of the mail you want to change its signature.(Without this, the change won't be effected)

7. After saving, you can then close the screen and test your new signature by sending a mail to a friend or yourself.

Enjoy.

    1. Hi Max,
Thanks for visiting and appreciating my blog.

Please note that for MTN BBCWEEK subscription, a data bundle usage of 200MB applies. this means that if you are a heavy user and usually download plenty stuffs like movies, you are likely to be charged once your download limit is exceeded.

However if this does not apply to you, try downloading on Zero balance.

kindly let me know if this worked for you.
