Role Summary/Purpose: Quality inspection, testing and control.
Essential Responsibilities
- The Quality inspector demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
- He / She will integrate and develop processes that meet overall business needs, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy, provide quality accountability and direction to cross-functional team empowered to execute operational tasks and use process improvement tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
- The position shall have responsibility for all quality control aspects of assigned projects including quality, inspection and test planning, quality auditing, nonconformance analysis, reporting , analysis and close out
Qualifications/Requirements
- BSc/HND in Engineering, Applied Science or Social Science
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in Quality Control and NDT inspection within Oil & Gas Industry
- Technical knowledge of subsea hardware and drilling equipment and a range of subsea instrumentation, measuring and test equipment.
- Working knowledge of drill stem, drilling tubular product and drilling specialty tools Inspections using DS – 1 standard.
- Plus ASNT level 2 certification in at least 4 methods.
